Intake. This high flow air filter by Rugged Ridge is even better at aspirating your engine while removing particulates from the air stream thanks to its dry panel design, which breathes more readily than oiled cotton. It can be washed with ordinary water, requiring no degreasers.

Additional Features. Rugged Ridge's dry panel air filter for YJ Wranglers is made to fit into the factory air box precisely, without any alterations or additional parts being necessary. The part fits the air boxes found in Jeeps with 2.5 liter engines or 4.0 liter engines. The filter is made out of synthetic fabric which needs no oil recharging, and can be cleaned with ordinary water rather than needing a degreaser for proper cleansing as is the case with cotton.
Application. This Rugged Ridge Reusable Synthetic Air Filter is designed to fit on the 1987 - 1995 YJ Wranglers equipped with either the 2.5 liter engine or the 4.0 liter engine.
