High-Strength Build Quality. This third brake light guard is built from premium aluminum alloy plates, offering exceptional durability without the added weight. Furthermore, this 3rd brake light guard is machine-formed to precise measurements before precision-cutting the USAF text into the guard’s structure. These factors ensure a stylish OE fit and finish. Lastly, this light cover receives a textured black powder coat finish for exceptional style and corrosion protection.
Uncomplicated Install Procedure. This third brake light guard is designed for an uncomplicated peel-and-stick installation courtesy of preinstalled 3M automotive-grade double-sided tape. Before installation, it is a good idea to clean the brake light’s mounting surface before wiping it down with a clean rag moistened with alcohol. This is to provide maximum bonding of the tape with your Jeep. Additionally, when installing this guard during the winter months, it is suggested you first warm up the mounting surfaces to also encourage proper adhesion of the tape to your vehicle. This can be accomplished with a heat gun or hairdryer.
