Clean Cabin Air Intake with Filter for Jeeps

Ahhh, clean air. If only our friends at Chrysler had remembered to add a cabin air filter to our rigs! By installing the Clean Air Intake System, you and your passengers will not only be breathing clean, healthy air – but your camera will get less dusty (we can’t vouch for the dust it acquires when you’re taking those flexed out shots of your friends) and you’ll have less interior clean up when you get home. It’s a win-win-win situation! All that without even considering the improved efficiency of your HVAC.

Here’s how it works: The kit consists of 2 primary parts – a scoop and a filter. The scoop was designed to fit securely on the cowl of your Jeep; it looks like a scoop (rather than a shovel). The scoop assembly resists the sun’s harmful UV rays and is impact resistant. Roto-molded by the same company that does cold air intakes for K&N, Banks and Kenne Bell, to name a few. In the manufacturing process we use a high grade of cross-linked polyethylene to provides a quality finish along with the durability of high impact construction. The Clean Cabin Air Intake is held solidly in place with 9 aircraft quality nut-serts. Installation tool included.

Now for the filter…The air filter is a micro-layer cotton construction with wire mesh. This is one of the only filters to be tested using the ISO 5011 method. Maintaining the filter is easy; wash it out when it gets dirty. Reuseable, just clean with most types of air cleaner cleaning kits or just soap and water. The end result is simple - increased air flow by reducing the restriction of the air filter.
