Description
Intake. The Rugged Ridge Cold Air Intake is crafted from mandrel bent aluminum and features a black powder coated heat shield. The dry panel air filter is reusable and less restrictive. As an added bonus it never needs to be oiled.
Filter Specs. The stock air box and filter work extremely well when it comes to protecting your engine from moderate water crossings, however its design is very restrictive to air flow. Rugged Ridge has designed this cold air intake kit to provide cooler air in larger quantity's to your engine, giving you better throttle response, increased performance and a slight increase to your fuel economy.
Additional Features. Cold air intake kits are meant to allow your engine to have increased air flow, allowing it to breath in more air with less effort. They are a great way to increase performance due to the simple installation that can be completed in about an hour.
Application. This polished aluminum Rugged Ridge Cold Air Intake is specifically designed to be used on the 1991-1995 Wrangler YJ models equipped with a 2.5L engine.
