I'm Ryan from ExtremeTerrain.com, and this is my review of the Rugged Ridge Floor Liners fitting all 2007 to 2016 JKs. These are available as just the front, the rear passenger, or the cargo area mat, but you can also get them in a kit that will have everything that you're looking for in your Jeep. These are also available for a few different year ranges because Jeep did change the floor a little bit. And of course, they're available for your two-door or your four-door JK. Once you have all of that picked out, you can then decide between three different colors: gray, tan, or black. These are for those of you who are looking to finish off the look of the interior of their Jeep, and provide some protection to their factory carpeting. These are designed to fit really well because they're designed for your specific body style, and year range Jeep. Some floor mats are designed to fit everything from 2007 to 2016, and they don't fit quite as well as these ones are going to fit. Now, in my opinion, floor mats have always been something that were overpriced. I don't know why they cost as much as they do. But in the realm of floor mats, I think these ones are pretty fairly priced for the quality of the material and the fitment. These are made of a TPE material, which is sort of a hybrid between a plastic and a rubber, which means they're going to be flexible, but they're also going to hold up really well. They're injection molded, and they have this chevron pattern in them which is going to give you a little bit of an additional grip, but also hold mud and other spills pretty well in the mat. Something that's really important in my opinion about a floor mat is retention. You don't want the floor mat moving around on you, and certainly not bunching up under the pedals. The front mats have a couple of areas punched out in them, so they'll snap into the factory floor mat hooks on the floor. So again, they're not going to move around. The rear mats have spikes on the bottom of them to give them some retention into the carpet as well. The one thing that I'll say that I don't like about this, and if you've seen some of our other videos, something I'm not a fan of is having a large logo on any product. I don't want my Jeep to be a billboard for a brand. And the logo that are on these is a little bit too big in my opinion. You can always remove it, but then you're left with the molded oval in all of the floor mats.As far as installation goes, well, they're floor mats. You just pretty much put them into place. As I mentioned, the fronts do have a couple of cut-outs with plugs in them, and you'll have to pop the plug out for your year so that you can attach the front mats into the factory hooks that are in the factory carpeting. If this takes you more than 15 minutes to install, it took you a long time. And you won't need any tools at all, of course, they just drop into place. The only bit of modification that you may need to do when installing one of these rear cargo mats is to make a cut where your sub is. Otherwise, you won't be able to fit the cargo mat in the Jeep properly. Like I said before, I've never really understood why floor mats were quite as expensive as they are. But as far as floor mats go, I think that these ones are well built. They have nice high sides, and the chevron's built into them to hold on to messes. They're designed to fit really well, and they have a retention system which means they won't move around under your feet. If I'm going to buy a floor mat, I would definitely take a look at these Rugged Ridge ones. So if you're looking to add some protection to your interior for those trail rides when your boots get muddy, or just for on the road in snow and rainy conditions, this is a nice option for something that I think is priced fairly and well built. So that's my review of the Rugged Ridge Floor Liners fitting all 2007 to 2016 JKs that you can find right here at ExtremeTerrain.com.
