Hey, guys. So, today we're checking out the Factory-Style Fender Flares, fitting all 1997 to 2006 TJ Wranglers. So, if you were out on the trail and have damaged, broken, or even lost a fender flare, this replacement kit is going to be a great choice to take a look into. So, not only is this great if you have damaged your factory flares, but this is also great if you're doing some restoration to your TJ and want to replace any faded or worn out parts. Now, this is going to be a direct replacement to your factory flares, and will include the front and the rear flare and transfer over your marker light up at the front and reuse all of your factory hardware if it's in good shape. Now, this kit I would like to venture will not come with hardware, so if you do need to replace your hardware, we do have options available on the site. So, what I really like about this is not only is this going to give a refresh to the side of your TJ, but they're also going to be flexible and durable as well made of a UV-treated thermoplastic construction. Now, that UV-treated aspect, that's going to allow them to hold up for a very long time, especially when your TJ is sitting out in the sun. With that being said, this is going to come in at roughly $125 for the kit, and I personally think that that's a fantastic price point for what you're getting out of this kit. Now, even though this kit does not come with the hardware and it doesn't come with a replacement marker light, I still think you're getting a quality kit as far as the fitment and the construction is concerned. Now, in comparison to some other choices, you're not going to see a lot of factory-style replacements. There will be a couple of other options on the site, but they are going to be set up pretty much the same, or they may include the extensions for that front fender flare. Now, a lot of options on the page are usually going to be set up a little bit differently, considering that they are set up as more of an aftermarket design. So, they may cover more of that front tire and be a different width or size. They may switch up the marker light, or for those more expensive options, they may include the steel or the metal flares that are going to provide some more protection than a factory-style replacement like this. Now, again, if you are just looking for a factory-style replacement for either a refresh to your Jeep, some restoration, or you have damaged one of your factory-style flares, then this is going to be a great choice to take a look into. So, install is actually going to be very easy on this. I'm going to give it a one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter, taking you probably 30 minutes to an hour to get the job done with some very basic hand tools. So, speaking of that install, let me run you through that right now. The tools that I used for my install were an impact wrench, a 10-millimeter and 8-millimeter socket, and a ratchet. So, to start this install, we are going to start in the front, and we want to make sure that our marker light on the side is disconnected before we take off our fenders. So, all we have to do is reach around the back and disconnect that wiring harness. So, there's no disconnect on this wiring harness, so what we're going to do is just twist the bulb and pull back. So, after our bulb is out of our marker light, we can start to remove the bolts that are holding our plastic fender to the metal side of our fender, and these are going to surround the hole in our fender. I'm going to use an 8-millimeter socket and a ratchet, and we can start to remove them. So, now that all of those bolts are disconnected, all we have to do is give a good pull on our fender. So, now that we're finished up in the front with uninstalling our front fender, we can start in the rear. Now, it's going to be the same process. There's going to be multiple bolts that are holding this in. I'm going to use that 8-millimeter socket that I used at the front as well as my ratchet to remove them. So, just like the front, when all the bolts are removed, we can give our fender a tug and it will come right off.So, before we hop into the rest of the install, I wanted to stop down and show you guys this new fender kit on the table in comparison to our factory one, and show you guys the similarities between the two. So, as you can tell, these are going to look almost identical, and that's because this is a direct replacement kit to your factory fender flares. Now these are going to be made of a similar material as well. The new fender kit is going to be made of a thermoplastic material, so will be impact-resistant and hold up very well on the trail, in comparison to the factory fender flares which are just made of a standard plastic material. Now, this new fender kit is also going to be UV-resistant, so it will resist any cracking or fading from the sun. As you can tell, on our factory flares, we do have a little bit of fading in comparison to these new ones, so it will give a more refreshed look to the side of your Wrangler. Now, this is also going to use all of the factory hardware and we'll be able to swap over the factory marker light because we do have a factory-style mount there. So, really, there is not going to be a whole lot of difference between the two. This is just going to serve as a replacement, as a refresh to the factory flares that you may already have on your Wrangler. So, what do you say we go ahead and install our new kit?So, before we install our new fenders, we do have to swap over our marker light. Now, it's going to be held in by this bolt here as well as two clips that have it wedged in. I'm going to use a 10-millimeter socket to remove that nut, and then we can wiggle it out. Then to install this light, we just have to hook those two tabs on, line that up, and then thread our nut back on to that post. Tighten that up with the 10-millimeter socket, and then we can install our new fender flares on our Jeep. So, what I recommend doing is just making sure that this is area is clean before you mount up your fender flare, then we can line up the two inserts with our fender. Push that in, make sure that it's flush, then we can grab our factory hardware, or if you have new hardware, we can secure it down with that. So, I'm going to be using the factory hardware, and once you have it hand threaded in, you can take that 8-millimeter socket and tighten that up. So, once that is tightened up, you can repeat that process for the other bolts. So, while we're at the front, what we can do is also just reinstall our bulb, so we're just going to place that in on marker light, making sure that the tabs are lined up. Push that in, give it a good a twist, and then we can head to the back. So, what we can do is just repeat that process for the back. So, again, there's going to be those little studs that we're going to put through the body. Just going to make sure everything lines up. You may have to give it a pretty good press. Once that's in place, we can take our factory bolts or your new bolts if you are using a hardware kit, and we can thread those in and install them. So, that's going to wrap it up for my review and install. Description

Design. This four piece fender flare replacement kit from Omix-ADA is made of strong, durable, and flexible thermoplastic rubber. The same rubber that's used in many bumpers, thermoplastic rubber is made to be impact resistant and perfectly balances the need for a strong material that will stand the test of time, as well as a flexible material that won't crack. The UV protection ensures that fading won't be an issue, and these fender flares are built to last for years to come.

Construction. This four piece set includes all four fender flares, including front and rear for both the passenger and driver's side. Hardware is not included, though existing hardware can be used. The flares are pre-drilled with holes that align with the factory design of these Wranglers, but in some cases the holes may need to be relocated. These are high quality, black, fade-resistant fenders that are perfect to replace damaged or missing fenders, or to restore a modified Wrangler back to its original design.

Application. These fender flares fit 1997 - 2006 TJ Wranglers. Holes are pre-drilled but modified Wranglers may require hole relocation.
