This third brake light guard conforms to the shape of your 3rd brake light and features heavy-duty aluminum construction. This design enables this guard to provide your 3rd brake light with excellent protection against scratches and impacts from kicked-up debris. More significantly, this brake light guard comes with a precision-cut NAVY design that allows ample light to shine through, giving your rear an eye-catching illuminated style.
Heavy-Duty Build Quality. This third brake light guard is manufactured from high-quality plates of aluminum alloy, making it durable and lightweight. This aluminum plate is then machine-formed to computer-generated measurements of your 3rd brake light to ensure a perfect fit. The word NAVY is then precision-cut into its structure to give the light guard its distinct look. Finally, this light guard is finished in a textured black powder coating, offering extra corrosion protection and rugged good looks.
User-Friendly Install Procedure. This third brake light guard comes preinstalled with 3M automotive-grade double-sided tape, offering a user-friendly peel-and-stick installation. Before installing this light guard, however, it is suggested that you first clean the mounting surfaces on your brake light. You then wipe these down with a clean rag and alcohol to encourage adhesion. Also when installing this guard in cold weather, please warm up the mounting surfaces as the adhesive is not as effective on cold surfaces. This can be done with a heat gun or hairdryer.
