You should be aware that this mirror only works with the hinge mount for full steel doors, not half doors.
Construction. The Door Mirror housing is made of solid steel, so it can endure accidental blows that can happen on a trail or anywhere else. Just like the stock setup, the mirror itself is manually adjustable and flat. Every last dimension of the mirror and housing matches the OE parts, including the mounting points, so you truly don't have to worry about the mirror not matching the stock one on on the passenger side.
Installation. You should plan on the installation job for this Rugged Ridge Door Mirror to take an hour or so. If you carefully study how the stock assembly is attached to the Jeep, that will speed up the process since this replacement works the exact same way. You'll need basic tools to get the job done properly, including a socket wrench. Beginners will likely find the installation will take over one hour, but it's not too complex to execute.
