Description
Key Features. Add a high-end, customized look to the exterior of your Jeep with this Cowl Vent Cover, manufactured by Rugged Ridge. It fits just like the OE part, avoiding any unsightly gaps around the edges and ensuring proper function for the heater. Since it's made of stainless steel, it will keep looking great for a long time without too much care. Installation is easy and all mounting hardware is included. The cover is backed by a 5 year limited warranty as well.
Construction. Rugged Ridge uses 304 stainless steel to construct this Cowl Vent Cover, a material that's known for being incredibly tough and durable. That's a big plus, matchign the rugged nature of your Jeep. The metal is almost completely immune to corrosion, pretty much no matter what kind of elements you expose it to on a regular basis. To care for the vent cover, simply apply some wax occassionally along with the paint, maintining the mirrored finish of the metal for the long term.
Installation. The mounting screws for this Cowl Vent Cover are included in the kit. You only need a screwdriver to complete the installation, which doesn't require any drilling or modification to the Jeep. After removing the factory cover, place the new one so the holes in it line up with the mounting points on the vehicle, then tighten all screws. The job is simple and should take most people half an hour or less to complete, depending on experience level.
Application. The Rugged Ridge Cowl Vent Cover is designed specifically for all 1976-1995 Jeep CJ/Wranglers (YJ).
