Customer Service & Inside Sales Manager - FILLED

AllThingsJeep.com is a leading online retailer for Jeep related gift items, memorabilia, and Jeep accessories whose success is built on our dedication to our customers. We are looking for a Customer Service & Inside Sales Manager who is comfortable getting in on the ground floor, and then growing a team of dedicated customer service / inside sales professionals. Your job will be to delight every customer and assure that their experience is a positive one.

Initially, you will handle customer service calls yourself. These will include customers placing phone orders, customers needing information or to return/exchange an order, and wholesale inquiries. You will then develop and grow a team of professionals that will support and assist us in achieving our sales and marketing goals. This may include a seasonal call center team, an outbound wholesale business development group, etc.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Customer Service / Inside Sales Manager who enjoys an entrepreneurial environment and growing a team from scratch.

Job Responsibilities · Develop and Manage our customer Service Department o Assist in the recruitment and hiring of the most qualified applicants to meet our seasonal needs o Train, coach and manage your team. · Receive customer calls and take phone orders o Check customer v-mail and return calls o Receive inbound telephone sales calls · Ensure a high level of customer service for all our customers · Manage Customer Service for www.allthingsjeep.com, www.paintedkiwi.com and related websites o Manage e-mail customer service requests o Call customers with outstanding issues including out-of-stock items or order/shipping issues o Follow up with any outstanding drop ship orders both with customer and vendor o Develop Customer services procedures and efficiencies inline with our high level of customer service · Handle returns and exchanges o Make informed decisions about customer returns and exchanges o Keep customers informed about returns o Document all returns and exchanges in order management software · Coordinate defective items/returns to manufacturers for appropriate credit and/or replacements · Maintain and update online marketing efforts such as MySpace and related blogging sites · Help determine the appropriate set of tools to provide exemplary customer service · Document customer service policies and procedures for Company Handbook · Picking and packing as scheduled as needed

Skills and Competencies · Ability to hire, train and build a workforce recognizing and utilizing individual strengths · Ability to manage the customer service process using our software, phone system and internal tools · Ability to manage and adjust priorities in a fast paced environment · Ability to communicate clearly and fairly to our employees

Requirements:

· Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays when needed · An attitude of doing what it takes to delight every customer · Experience growing a successful customer service and/or inside sales team · An understanding of the retail environment and the processes that make it all work · Exceptional interpersonal, communication, organization and follow-through skills · Extremely detail oriented. Customer service driven. Well organized. · Comfy using computers to do your work. · Ability to work in fast paced, often hectic environment. · Ability to work in a small group. Easy going. Flexible. · Sense of humor an essential requirement!

We are seeking a new employee to assist us in picking and packing orders, receiving inventory and other tasks required to successfully run and grow the business. We offer the opportunity to see and learn the inner workings of a fast growing small internet business along with job flexibility.

Job Description:

Order Management: Receive customer orders via internet, phone or mail. Process the orders with our order management software. Pull inventory from the shelves. Pack the orders and process shipping labels.

Inventory Management: Maintain well organized product inventory. -Receive inventory into the warehouse. Bring packages into warehouse, open and count inventory and place on shelving. Update Open Purchase Orders in Order Management System. -Some inventory requires folding – shirts and decals – before storage on shelving -Count inventory and maintain accurate data in system

Customer Service: -Answer phone calls. -Help customers with their questions. -Take orders by phone.

Job Requirements:

  • Extremely detail oriented. Customer service driven. Well organized.
  • Ability to do physical labor, (such as unpacking and shelving inventory)
  • Comfy using computers to do your work.
  • Ability to work in fast paced, often hectic environment.
  • Ability to work in a small group. Easy going. Flexible.
  • Sense of humor an essential requirement! (We will ask you to tell your best joke during the interview.)
  • You don't need to own a Jeep, you just can't drive a Hummer (joking, of course...).
  • If you are savvy with social networking, spreadsheets, Jeep accessories and/or off-roading, you'll earn brownie points.

Full-time 40 hours/week. 9am – 5pm. (May be flexible.) Starting Salary: Above minimum wage. If we love you and you love us, there is a LOT of opportunity to grow with our business.
