May 3rd, 2008 - 1st Go Topless Day - All Things Jeep

Over the next week we'll pick our favorites and post our winners here. You can vote too on the photo page by giving a thumbs up to your favorite photos. And if you have photos of that day, send them along to sales @allthingsjeep.com.

Join us in celebrating an annual spring rite for Jeep owners -- the removal of the top off the Jeep. This year we are celebrating Worldwide Go Topless Day on May 3rd, 2008. Please join us!

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

1. TAKE THE TOP OFF YOUR JEEP. (that one requires no explanation.)

2. Join our GO TOPLESS DAY MEET & GREET in LANCASTER, MA.
(DETAILS BELOW or Print out the GO TOPLESS DAY FLYER.)

3. HOST YOUR OWN GO TOPLESS DAY EVENT.
Jeep Clubs worldwide are joining in with picnics, trail runs, trail clean-ups and social events. (See the growing list below.) Contact us with your club info & we'll send you some goodies for your event.

4. ENTER OUR GO TOPLESS DAY Contest

and Win one of five $50 Gift Certificates to www.allthingsjeep.com!

The contest is open to everyone, with any Jeep.

Where: Oak Ridge Farm Stand at 1543 Lunenburg Road, (Route 70) Lancaster, MA from 10AM - 5PM (Route 2 to Exit 35/Route 70. Left onto Route 70. One mile down on left.)

GO TOPLESS DAY Meet & Greet Details:
Come share a fun afternoon with fellow Jeepers.
Oak Ridge Farmstand is easy to get to, with plenty of parking. We'll have

• Raffles and prizes (Vendors have donated over $2000 in raffle prizes so far)
• Bovine Bingo (look it up!)
• Moon Walk, Velcro Wall & other activities for kids
• Music
• Food, drink, and homemade ice cream will be available for sale.
• All Things Jeep employees will be there with giveaways and prizes for everyone!

    • Jason G in Alberta, Canada who writes, "well guys what can i say ..i've been top less now for a couple of weeks now here in alberta, canada, the weather still gets well below freezing here at night , heck, they're even forcasting 25 cm of snow for the weekend (thats what 12-13 inches?) i have an 85 cj 7 with chevy 350 power/ 4 speed standards trans, 33 inch tires and have lino-coated(spray in box liner) the whole jeep inside and out. It's MY DAILY DRIVER, it rides a little rough and is it pretty? -no not really, but when i put my winter clothing and cover-alls on and head out the door for my 30 minute drive to work, the fresh air, tires howling on the pavement and all the thumbs up and the smiles from all the other people commuting to thier jobs, make it all worth while, and for the few who don't smile while im barreling down the highway, i guess they don't understand...it really is a jeep thing...cheers from alberta canada"

    EVERYONE that submits a photo to us of him or herself in a topless Jeep will get a Go Topless Day commemorative decal. The best 5 photo entries will win $50 Gift Certificates to www.allthingsjeep.com. And a FREE Limited Edition T-shirt (Also available for just $10 bucks.)

    1. You may submit more than one entry but only one prize per Jeep owner.
    2. Electronic Photo Entries should be emailed to sales@allthingsjeep.com.
    3. You're on the honor system that you took the photo on May 3rd, 2008.
    4. Entries should include your full name, address, phone # and the model/year of your Jeep.
    5. By submitting an entry, you grant us permission to publish the photo on our website and / or blog (with your first name only).
    6. The employees of All Things Jeep will be the sole decision makers on the winning photos. We can be bribed with candy, CDs of your favorite music mixes, offers to write entries for our Jeep blog, and beautifully packaged gifts. ;)
